What is the fear all Almighty YHWH?
See also The Altar Of Satan True Seed Of Yisrael
Is this a legitimate question to ask you? We must understand this mighty "fear" that YHWH commands us to have. We will examine Scripture that instructs us in the fear of The Almighty YHWH. First of all let us define what feared is. In the HEBREW LEXICON - STRONG'S NUMBER 3374 - yir'ah {yir-aw'} fear is defined as "terror, fearing, awesome/terrifying thing (object causing fear), fear (of YHWH), respect, reverence, piety, revered.
Let us examine Scripture-{kaw-thawb'} that
commands us to
fear The Almighty YHWH. We will establish by Scripture how YHWH
commands HIS people to "truly fear" HIM. Do pay close attention to the
instructions in Scripture as to what YHWH is implying to HIS house Yisrael. We
will begin in TEHILLIM - PSALMS 2:11 Serve YHWH with fear {yir-aw'},
and rejoice with trembling {raw-ad'}. Not only does HE tells us to serve
with fear, but HE tells us how to respond when we are truly serving
HIM in the order that HE dictates to HIS People. Let us closely examine the word
"trembling". It is "to be affected with great fear or
anxiety. This implies that there should be an abnormal and overwhelming
sense of apprehension and fear that is marked by physiological signs as
sweating, tension, and increased pulse rate in you. Do you see the physical
response to the fear of YHWH. One is shaken when the power of the true fear of
YHWH is in their heart-lev. This indicates more than just reverence. Reverence
is the element that brings that pure fear that YHWH commands us. A child
"reverence" his father-ahvot, but there is always that element of fear
of his father that lurks in his mind, but he still trust the judgment of his
father-ahvot even when he has done a deed that he know that his father-ahvot
will disapprove of.
YHWH in dealing with HIS People Yisrael, HE commands the prophet-nawbee what to
declare to HIS House-Bayit of Yisrael. In verse 3 HE ask them "Fear you
not ME". What a question to ask a people that had a history of witnessing
the hand of YHWH against their adversaries with great destruction that they
would cry for their own lives to be spared, and yet this question must be posed
to them. Does this generation the fear YHWH? Now the expression of this "fear"
is described in the HEBREW LEXICON - STRONG'S NUMBER 3372 as
{yaw-ray'}. I want you to take a close look at the characteristics of this
"fear" that was the question to Yisrael from YHWH.
It is characterized as " be afraid, to stand in awe of, be awed, to fear,
reverence, honor, respect, to be fearful, be dreadful, be feared, to cause
astonishment and awe, be held in awe, to inspire reverence/Kadosh
fear/awe, to make afraid, terrify. Do inspect each of the
characteristics of this meaning! The "fear" of YHWH deals with more than
just the aspect of the "reverence" of HIM. That is one of the attribute
of the fear of YHWH. What a statement HE ask, " will you not tremble"? We
understand the meaning of words base on the environment that we we were raised
in, and also the type of the vernacular (languages) we spoke based on how words
were defined in our every day life whether right or wrong. We can not base the
true understanding of YHWH based upon an interpretation of word definition that
are misrepresented in the meaning. We miss a lot of "truth"
depending on that kind of analogy. Will we "tremble"? Tremble {khool}
here in this expression is to, "to be distressed, to cause to be in
anguish/pain." Does this sound as though we should regard YHWH will the
least of trepidation that we have learn and been taught? NO, and a resounding
NO! We must fear YHWH.
YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 5:20 Declare this in the house of Yacob, and publish it in
Yahudah, saying,
YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 5:21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without a
understanding heart-lev; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear
not:
YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 5:22 Fear you not ME? says YHWH: will you not
tremble at MY Presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea
by a statute forever, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss
themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass
over it?
Solomon-Shlomoh in all of his great power and might that the conclusion of all
the matters is that "man must fear YHWH". The true fear of YHWH teaches us the
true love of YHWH. Fear is not something that reduces us to little fragile
people, but quite the opposite. It give us that assurance of who we have our
trust and confidence in. It is YHWH! Our true duty to HIM is to fear HIM as
well.
KOHETET - ECCLESIASTES 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear-{yaw-ray'} YHWH, and keep HIS Commandments-mitzvoth: for this is the
whole duty of all mankind.
This is part 1 in a series of the "Fear of YHWH". There will be a wonderful
understanding to the Scripture of YHWH, and what HIS fear is when this series if
finished.
