He Who You Obey,
To Him You Belong
These excerpts are taken from the testimony of a bridge engineer from India that is today a believer of the saving power of YAHWEH;
When I was 10 years old my father brought me down to the park in New Delhi. There was a man there sitting on the edge of a rectangle field pumping billows on red-hot coals to draw a crowd. Once the crowd came around he would take his slippers off and walk across the red-hot coals, then he would pass the hat, get rid of that crowd and draw the next crowd, for that is how he made his living. As my father and I stood there watching this man, in my mind I thought this man is a faker. I could feel the heat from the coals, yet I thought the heat must be coming from the edges and something was fraudulent about it. I figured all these older people believe it and my father is just as dumb as they are. My father had his hand upon my shoulder, and when the man had collected his money he went and sat back down, the crowd began to leave, my father lifted his hand from my shoulder. I immediately reached down, knocked my sandals off and ran across those red-hot coals myself. I discovered that the coals were hot and I not only burned my feet, I got a licking from my father for doing such a thing. I made up my mind right there if some men could walk across red-hot coals and not burn their feet, then I wanted to learn how to do it.
My father told me that I was going to do no such thing, because he was the chief bridge engineer in India and I was going to go to the same school in England that he did so I could become a bridge engineer to fill his job when he retired. This I did, but once I got that job I had enough leisure time that I went to the park in New Delhi and I saw one of these men and asked him who was his master. He told me and I went to the master to ask him if he would teach me to walk on hot coals? He said if you have the time and the money I can. It cost me $25.00 every time that I visited him.
He told me the way to learn to walk on red-hot coals was through two words from Yoga that are very important and everything centers around those two words. These two words are also in the scriptures and everything in scripture centers around them, even though most believers do not even understand the meaning of either of the two words. The two words are obedience and commands.
He said that if I order you to go to bed tonight and you go to bed then you did not obey me. I ask him why? He said that if I had said nothing you would have went to bed anyhow, would you not have? I said yes. He said that is not obedience because obedience is not obedience if it is in accord with your own reasoning. He said that if I had told you to sit up in a hard chair all night until about three in the morning, you would have said boy this chair is hard and there is a bed why do I not go lay down? But you said this man told me to sit in this chair all night and you did that, then that would have been obedience. For it makes no sense to your reasoning to sit in a hard chair when there is a soft bed there and that would be obedience. He said again that obedience is never obedience if it is in accord with your own reasoning.
He said so if you were taking Yoga your instructor would give you an exercise and in this case I am going to give you a breathing exercise. He told me to take 1,196 breaths, taking seven seconds to breath in and five seconds to breath out, every seventh time you breath in through your left nostril, and every eleventh time you breath through your left nostril. You get these instructions, so you go home and start figuring 1,196 divided by seven and you divide by eleven, you work out a chart and get your watch out. If you start doing the exercise and follow the instructions exactly, yet the telephone rang on your 1,195 time and you stopped to answer the telephone you may reason that you were close enough to 1,196. Your mind would tell you that you had took 1,195 breaths and your body felt the good of that for the extra oxygen felt well. You would tell yourself that these men really know something for it seems to be doing me some good.
Then he told me something that he said I would never be told if I was learning Yoga the way I told you. He said that I would never be told that if I had done that 1,195 times exactly like he told me, but you did not do it 1,196 times you as well have done nothing. And now he said that I would tell you something else, I made up everything out of thin air. I just made it up, but what you are learning is absolute obedience. He said that if you did the exercise 1,195 even though I have told you and picked the number 1,196 out of thin air, you still did not obey me. He said that it is very important that you learn how to obey.
He told me that this is how it works. Each time that you come back to the master he gives you an instruction that is more difficult from the last instruction, but it takes more imagination to make any sense out of it. And that is the way it goes, each time the instruction is more difficult and more crazier than the last instruction. You really have to stretch your imagination to make sense out of it. The master watches you and he figures when you are right for the final instruction.
The final instruction is one that is more difficult from anything that you have had up until this time and stretches your imagination to the ultimate limit, for it makes absolutely no sense. Now let me tell you what my final instruction was. I was to go out into India and find a kitchen chair that was painted all red. In India it is hard to find even a white kitchen chair because most people sit on mats, for they do not use chairs. He said that I was to find a red kitchen chair that could not have any other color on it but red. It could not have a white tip on it or even a hairline gold stripe up the back on the chair.
Now when you find the chair you can pay the owner any price that you want for access to the chair, but tell the owner nothing. Once you have access to the chair pick it up and rub your nose on the bottom of all four legs and then come back and see me. Now there is nothing crazier than commands like that for if you are rubbing your nose on the bottom of the chair and there is no paint there, what difference does it make what color the chair is? Again your reasoning would tell you that this was crazy, but I had gone so far and every time I went to him it was $25.00 to get a new instruction, I had a lot of money invested in this man. So I figured that there had to be a red chair in the neighborhood. After scouring the neighborhood there was not even a white chair let alone a red chair. I got discouraged and went back to the master and I told him this, Every instruction that you have given me up until now I have followed it and come back here. This instruction is the craziest thing that I have ever heard of. What in the world is the reason, and I tried to explain to him what harm would a gold stripe on the chair do? I told him could you not give me something a little more reasonable, for I do not believe there is a red chair in India?
The master said there is a red chair just like I described in India, but if you do not want to find it and follow my instructions go your own way. With a master like that, he has your money what can you do, I had to go out and find the red chair. I came to my sense and I realized that if I am going to find kitchen chairs I would not find it among the Indian population. The only ones that would use that would be the diplomats and they live out in the suburbs of New Delhi.
Finally I came across a woman that said yes I have red kitchen chairs. After two years of all my spare time out going from door to door trying to find these red kitchen chairs and I hear that she has them. The first thing that I did was reach into my pocket and pulled out some money and handed it to her and said that I would like to see that chair. She said do you want to buy it and I said no I just want to see it, but I want you to take this money. She said well what is the money for? I said well just to see the chair and do something. She said well come in then and sure enough the chair was exactly what I wanted. The woman is standing there but she has not taken any money yet, so I said to her to take the money. She says for what, there is the chairs do what you want, for I do not want your money. I would give her the money and she would give it back. How easy it would have been if she had taken the money, but the second part of the instruction was to tell the owner nothing. I had to pick up that chair in front of that woman and get out of that house. You think finding that chair was hard; well getting out of that woman's stare was harder. I could not tell her anything and yet I had to follow instructions.
I was so happy to get out of there I immediately went back to the master and told him that I had done it. The master said come over here. He said that your right arm is going numb and there is no blood flowing into your forefinger. He said hold out your arm and forefinger. He jabbed a pin in me and I never felt a thing. The master said that you have learned to obey, for if you had lied any where along the line when I jabbed that pin into you, you would have jumped. He said at this moment I can speak directly to your subconscious mind. I can tell you from across the room for your heart to slow down and stop and you would drop dead and I would not have touched you. But he said that I am not here to harm you.
You are half way through the third form of Yoga for you have learned to obey. Now you are ready for the second half where you must learn to command. That will largely be up to yourself but I am going to give you one help. While I am able to address your subconscious mind directly I am informing that mind to make you aware of every word that you speak and every word that you hear. Now you will learn to command and whom are you going to command. You are going to command yourself. You must never hear your own voice say anything that is not absolute truth. Not moral truth but absolute truth. You do not have to talk but when you talk you will know what you have said. So me speaking to your subconscious mind will make you aware of what you have said. I did not think that he had changed anything when I left there, but he had changed my social life. I could not stand people when they talk because they are constantly talking through their hat for they do not know what they are saying.
But one of the things that impressed me was this, for he said, to show you what I mean by absolute truth, suppose on the way to work one day you had a prescription to get filled. You drop it off at the drug store and ask when will you have that done. They say, I will have it done in a half hour and you say good, I will be back at noon to pick it up. You go back to work and about noon someone says, hey let us go out to lunch. Now your mind has heard you say that you would be back at noon to pick up the prescription, yet your reasoning comes in and says, well I had to say something, so I said that. It really does not make any difference to the drug store if I come at noon, one or two, as long as I come, for that was just a slip of the tongue. Whether it was a slip of the tongue or not your subconscious mind heard you say that you would be back at noon to pick it up. Now you set your watch for the most exact time that you can to open the door of the drug store at exactly noon, for that is what you said. You practice that and within a month time you will begin to feel power within your own voice. What you are actually doing is training your subconscious mind to respect your spoken word of the conscious mind. The time will come that you will know before you say it, as your arm is going numb and there is no blood flowing in your forefinger, that before you say it that you have that power. When you know that, try and see it. From that time on he left the master and had nothing else to do with him. The master had spoken to his subconscious mind and made it aware of every word that it heard and every word that he spoke. He had ruined his social life because if you go out bowling with someone and they say watch me make a strike and the ball goes down the gutter, well all kinds of things like that happen and you can not stand people after awhile, for you are aware of what they are saying. The master told me to watch every word that I say and make sure of what I am saying before it comes out.
I practiced on that for a couple of years before one night I was 95% sure that I could do it and the next morning I was sure and I tried it and I did it. The next thing that I did I went down to New Delhi, I found the man that made his business of walking on the red-hot coals and I told him I can walk on your hot coals. The man said go ahead, so I told myself that I am able to walk across these coals without getting burnt. I walked across and I did not get burnt. I looked back at the man gave him the high sign and he gave me the high sign, that was all I needed. I had done it and that satisfied me.
Now how did I become a believer from that? Well soon after that I had to go to a dentist, which was no problem with me because I just said, the left side of my jaw is going numb, the dentist will drill or anything that he wants to and after he is finished I will say my feeling is returned and away I will go. Ahead of me was a man that had his collar on backwards, a missionary of some kind. He was in arguing with the dentist and he said he wanted the dentist to pull a tooth but he wanted to know if they had Novocain and in India they do not have Novocain. The dentist said that if it did not ache bad enough to get it pulled out, go home and wait until it does hurt bad enough and come back. The missionary said no I cannot have a tooth pulled without Novocain and he took off and left. There was a great disgust that came over me and I said, look at the nerve of these men, and I had great respect for the English and American, for I had to go to England to learn my civil engineering. There was no place in India that I could have learned that and I respected these people. Instead of sending us people to teach us engineering they send us these people to teach us their beliefs. I thought, look at that weak man, he cannot get a tooth pulled without Novocain and I can. This man wants to teach me his beliefs and there was a great disgust burning inside of me. On my way back to the office I passed by a bookstore and I stopped to buy a copy of the scriptures, just so that I could find out what was in this book that was fooling these otherwise intelligent people.
Once I had read the book I found every instruction that I had had when I was taught Yoga. He said the scriptures are centered around the same two words obedience and commands. For YAHWEH says that whom it is that you obey, his you are. You see I had obeyed the master and I belonged to that master. This is the thing that he brought out. The subconscious mind of all men is the same and any time a man can speak to his own subconscious mind, he can speak to the subconscious mind of any other person who will obey him against his own reason. Meaning true obedience. That is why when the master learns to speak to his own subconscious mind, and he at the half way point of Yoga learned to obey his master, his master then could have told his heart to slow down and stop, so his own subconscious mind would have obeyed his masters voice and he would have dropped dead. This was a dangerous situation if he had wanted to take advantage of him. The scriptures say that he who you obey his you are. MESSIYAH said that whosoever believeth in ME and is baptized shall be saved and what is so important in being baptized, being ducked in water with your clothes on? Normally you would not walk into water with your clothes on and yet in obedience of baptism you are required to walk into water with your clothes on. There is nothing more miserable to have on than wet clothes, for they stick to you, you are very uncomfortable. That is the first part of obedience as becoming a believer. You have learned to obey and by YAHWEH'S own Word HE whom you obey, HIS you are.
The scripture goes on to say that to beware of every word that proceedes out of your mouth, for therein is all evil. You are warned to watch your words and guard your speech, and lying. The instruction is all there on how to command yourself and when you command yourself like at the drug store it makes you set a heavy weight on your words and follow through. For when your subconscious mind sees you following through and keeping your word to that extent, that has tremendous weight on your conscious mind. Just as with obedience, it is never obedience if it is in accord with your reasoning. That is why the instructions for teaching obedience totally goes against your reasoning to constitute obedience. The command works in the same area, the command by itself is no great thing, but when by the slip of the tongue and then you make yourself obey your words, it impresses your subconscious mind and when you do this enough your subconscious mind becomes very impressed with the words of your conscious mind. When you bring your two minds together so that what you say with your voice your subconscious brings into reality to work in actuality.
When I saw that the scriptures had the same identical instructions as of Yoga and how much safer it is to obey the truth of YAHSHUA rather than obey the instruction of another man, I can see how Yoga is sorcery. For now that master of Yoga has control over you and that is how every secret society works. From the Masonic lodge even to the Elks club, which I always figured was a bunch of drunks raising noise and nothing serious about them. But to become an Elk, a Mason or even in a fraternity, you must have a ritual. When you obey a ritual, which a ritual never makes sense to your reasoning, you are doing something against your own reasoning. Yet grown men go through these rituals to join these clubs. Now they have learned to obey and he who you obey, to him you belong. This is why the people who make up these rituals can control all of our judges because they are 33rd degree masons. They have obeyed them and now they are under their power by their subconscious mind. This is the basis that we can learn from the man from India who was saved.
