YAHWEH'S Everlasting Covenant

YAHWEH'S Word; I will put MY Spirit within you and cause you to walk in MY LAW and you will keep MY judgments and do them; I will cut with them a Covenant of peace, it will be an everlasting Covenant with them.

“And they will be MY people and I will be their Mighty One. And I will cut an everlasting Covenant with them, I will not turn away from them to do them good; but I will put MY fear in their inner beings so that they will not depart from ME.” YermeYah (Jeremiah) 32:38,40.

We have had the words of the institution of the New Covenant. Let us listen to more teaching we have concerning it in YermeYah and Yehezqel (Ezekiel), where YAHWEH speaks of it as an everlasting Covenant. In every covenant there are two parties and the very foundation of a covenant rests upon the thought that each party is to be faithful to the part they have undertaken to perform. Unfaithfulness on either side breaks the covenant. It was so with the Old Covenant, YAHWEH said to Yisrael, “Obey MY voice and I will be your Mighty One.” YermeYah 7:23 & 11:4. These simple words contained the whole Covenant. And when Yisrael disobeyed, the Covenant was broken. The question of Yisrael’s being able to obey or not was not taken into consideration, disobedience forfeited the privileges of the Covenant. 

YAHWEH'S Everlasting Covenant, Never To Be Broken

If a New Covenant were to be made and if it was to be better than the Old, disobedience was one thing that had to be provided for. No New Covenant could be of any profit unless it provided the secure-ness of obedience. Obedience there must be! YAHWEH as the Creator could never take YAHWEH'S creatures into YAHWEH'S favor and fellowship, except they obey YAHWEH. This would have been an impossibility. If the New Covenant is to be better than the Old, and to be an everlasting Covenant, never to be broken, it must make a sufficient provision for securing the obedience of the Covenant people. And this is indeed the honour of the New Covenant, the honour that exceeds, because this provision has been made, in a way that no human thought could have devised. A stipulation that NEVER entered into any human covenant, an undertaking in which YAHWEH'S infinite higher authority and power are to be wonderfully exhibited, by a supernatural uncovering of YAHWEH'S faithfulness, but for man’s too! And this is in no other way, than by YAHWEH undertaking to secure man’s part, as well as YAHWEH'S. Do try and understand this! Because this, the essential part of the New Covenant, so exceeds and confounds all human thoughts of what a covenant means, believers from the Galatians downwards have not been able to see nor believe what the New Covenant truly brings. They have thought that human unfaithfulness was a permanent factor to be dealt with as something utterly unconquerable and incurable, and that the possibility of a life of obedience, with the witness form within of a good conscience, and from above of YAHWEH'S pleasure, was not to be expected. They have therefore ought to stir their minds to its utmost by arguments and self-motives, and never realized that the SetApart Spirit of YAHWEH is to be the never ending, universal, all-sufficient worker of everything that has to be worked out in every believer! Let us pray earnestly to YAHWEH that YAHWEH would reveal to us by the SetApart Spirit, all the things that YAHWEH has prepared for those who love YAHWEH; things that have not entered into the minds nor hearts of man, the wonderful life of the New Covenant! Praise YAHWEH!

YAHWEH'S Fear Unto Their Inner Beings, So That They Will Not Depart From HIS Everlasting Covenant

Everything depends upon our understanding of what YAHWEH will work in us. Listen to what YAHWEH says in YermeYah of the two parts of YAHWEH'S everlasting Covenant, shortly after YAHWEH had announced the New Covenant and in a further clear explanation of it. The central thought is that the heart is to be made right and is here restated and confirmed: “I will make an everlasting Covenant with them, I will not turn away from them to do them good. “That is, YAHWEH will be unchangeably faithful, YAHWEH will not turn from us. “But I will put MY fear unto their inner beings, so that they will not depart from ME. “This is the second half, Yisrael will be faithful too! And this is because YAHWEH will put the fear of YAHWEH in their inner beings, so that they will not depart from YAHWEH. As faithfully as YAHWEH undertakes for the fulfillment on YAHWEH'S part, YAHWEH will fulfill their part also, so that they will not depart from YAHWEH! HalleluYah! Praise be YAHWEH forever! Listen to YAHWEH'S Word in Yehezqel (Ezekiel) in regard to one of the terms of YAHWEH'S Covenant of Peace, YAHWEH'S everlasting Covenant. Yehezqel 34:25, 36:27, 37:26. “I will put MY Spirit within you and cause you to walk in MY Law, and you will keep MY judgment and do them. “In the Old Covenant we have nothing like this. We have on the contrary, from the story of the golden calf and the breaking of the tablets of the Covenant onward, the sad fact of the continual departure from YAHWEH. We find YAHWEH longing for what YAHWEH so desired to see, but was not to be found. “Oh, that there was such a heart in them that they would fear ME and keep all MY Commandments always." Devarim (Deuteronomy) 5:29. We find throughout the book of Devarim a thing without parallel in the history of any religion or religious Law giver, Moshe most distinctly  prophesying their forsaking of YAHWEH, with the terrible curses and dispersion that would come upon them." It is only at the close of his threatening (Devarim 30:6) that he gives the promise of the new time that would come: “YAHWEH your Mighty One will circumcise your heart, so that you will love YAHWEH your Mighty One with all your heart and all your inner being and you will obey the voice of YAHWEH your Mighty One." The whole Old Covenant was dependent on man’s faithfulness: “YAHWEH your Mighty One. The whole Old Covenant was dependent on man’s faithfulness: “YAHWEH your Mighty One keeps Covenant with them that keep YAHWEH'S Commandments. "YAHWEH'S keeping of the Covenant availed little if man did not keep it. Nothing could help man until the: “If you keep diligently, the LAW ," was replaced by the word of promise: “I will put MY Spirit in you and you will keep MY judgments and do them." The one Supreme difference of the New Covenant, the one thing for which the Mediator, the blood and the Spirit were given, the one fruit YAHWEH sought and YAHWEH engaged to bring forward was this, an inner being filled with the fear of YAHWEH and YAHWEH'S love, a heart which cleaved to YAHWEH and will not depart from YAHWEH. A heart in which YAHWEH'S Spirit and YAHWEH'S Law dwells, a heart that delights to do YAHWEH'S will! So be it! Here is the truth revealed Covenant. It deals with the heart in man in the power of YAHWEH, it not only appeals to the heart by every motive of fear, love, duty or gratitude, the Law so did that, but it reveals YAHWEH, who cleans our hearts and makes it new, changing it entirely from a heart of stone into a heart of flesh, a tender, living and loving heart. The SetApart Spirit is within it and so by the Spirit of YAHWEH'S Almighty power and love, the Spirit breathes and works in it making the promise true: “I will cause you to walk in MY Law and you will keep MY judgments. "A heart in perfect harmony with YAHWEH, a life and walk in YAHWEH'S way. YAHWEH has engaged in Covenant-to work this in us! YAHWEH undertakes to do our part in the Covenant as much for us, as for YAHWEH. This is nothing short of the restoration of the original relationship between YAHWEH and the man who YAHWEH made in YAHWEH'S own likeness. Man was put on earth to be the image of YAHWEH, because YAHWEH was to live and work all in him and man was to find his honour and happiness in owing all to YAHWEH. This is the exceeding honour of the New Covenant, of the system revealed at the Feast of weeks (Pentecost), that by the SetApart Spirit, YAHWEH could now again be the indwelling life of YAHWEH'S people and make the promise a reality: “I will cause you to walk in MY Law." With YAHWEH'S presence secured to us every moment of the day: “I will not turn away from them." With "YAHWEH'S fear put into our heart” by YAHWEH'S own Spirit, and our heart therefore responding to YAHWEH'S pure presence; with our hearts now set right with YAHWEH, we can and will walk in YAHWEH'S Law and keep YAHWEH'S judgments!

Honour YAHWEH By Believing And Trusting All That YAHWEH'S Love Has Prepared For Us!

My brothers and sisters, the great Law breaking of Yisrael under the Old Covenant, by which they greatly grieved YAHWEH, was this: they limited the SetApart One of Yisrael. Under the New Covenant there is the same danger of this Law breaking. It makes it impossible for YAHWEH to fulfill YAHWEH'S promises. Let us seek above everything else for the SetApart Spirit’s teaching, to show us exactly what YAHWEH has established the New Covenant for, so that we can honour YAHWEH by believing and trusting all that YAHWEH'S love has prepared for us! everlasting Covenant. YAHWEH'S Word: “I will put MY fear in their hearts, so that they will not depart from ME: I will put MY Spirit within you and you will keep MY Law," is understood in some weak sense, according to our experience and not according to what the Word nor YAHWEH means. And the believer settles down into despair, or a self-contentment that says it will always be so, which makes true conviction for Law breaking impossible. Let me say to every reader who would rather believe fully all that YAHWEH says: Cherish every whisper of the conscience and of the Spirit that convicts you of Law breaking. Whatever it is, a hasty temper, a sharp word, an unloving or impatient thought, anything of selfishness or self-willed, cherish that which condemns it in you as part of the schooling that will bring you to the MESSIYAH and full possession of YAHSHUA'S deliverance. The New Covenant is meant to meet the need for power to not break the Law, which the Old Covenant could not give. Come with that need, it will prepare and open the heart for all that YAHWEH'S Everlasting Covenant secures for you. It will bring you to that humble and entire dependence upon YAHWEH, in YAHWEH'S Almighty power and faithfulness, in which YAHWEH can and will work out all the promises! Let the Spirit of YAHWEH guide your path so that you will be a pleasing child! YAHSHUA truly opened the door for us all!

A system, plan or society established, either by Law or by the authority of individuals for promoting any object, public or social. 4. A system of the elements or rules of any art or science. 5. Education; instruction. 6. The act or ceremony of investing a clerk with the spiritual part of a benefice, by which the care of souls is committed to his charge.
