YAHWEH'S Word Is The Book of the Covenant

Belief and trust of YAHSHUA the Son and HIS Spirit, and YAHWEH will show us that every Word written in the Book of the Covenant is true

And Moshe took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said: All that YAHWEH has said we will do and obey. Moshe took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said: Behold the blood of the Covenant, which YAHWEH has cut with you concerning all these Words." Shemoth (Exodus) 24:7,8, compare  Ivrim (Hebrews) 9:18-20.

Here is a new aspect in which to regard YAHWEH'S honoured Word. Before Moshe sprinkled the blood, he read the Book of the Covenant and obtained the peoples acceptance of it. The Book contained all the conditions of the Covenant, only through the Book could they know what YAHWEH asked of them, and all they could ask of YAHWEH. Let us consider what new light can be thrown both upon the Covenant and the Book, by this one thought, that the Scriptures is the Book of the Covenant

The first thought suggested will be this, that in nothing will the spirit of our life and experience, as it lives either in the Old or New Covenant, be more clearly perceived than in our dealings with the Book. The Old had a Book as does the New, our Scriptures contains both. The New was contained in the Old, the Old contained in the New.  It is possible to read the Old in the Spirit of the New, it is possible also to read the New as well as the Old in the spirit of the Old!

What this spirit of the Old is, can be seen clearly in Yisrael when the Covenant was made. They at once were ready to promise: " All that YAHWEH has said live will do and obey." There was so little sense of their own Law breaking or of the SetApart Pureness from evil and honour of YAHWEH, so that in perfect self-confidence they considered themselves able to undertake to keep the Covenant. They understood little the meaning of that blood with which they were sprinkled or of that death and purchase price of which it was a symbol. In their own strength in the power of the flesh, they were ready to engage to serve YAHWEH.  It is this same spirit in which many believers regard the Scriptures as a system of Law, a course of instruction to direct us in the way YAHWEH would have us go. All YAHWEH asks of us is that we should do our best in seeking to fulfill them, anymore we cannot do, this we are sincerely ready to do. They know little or nothing of what  the death means through which the Covenant is established, or what the life from the dead is through which alone a person can walk in Covenant with the Mighty One in the heavens .

This self-confident spirit in Yisrael is explained by  what happened previously. When YAHWEH had come down on Mt. Sinai in thundering and lightening to give the Law, they were greatly afraid. They said to Moshe: "Do not let YAHWEH speak with us, unless we die; you speak with us and we will listen." They thought it was simply a matter of hearing and knowing, then they could certainly obey. They did not understand that it is only the presence, the fear, the nearness and the power of YAHWEH that humbles us and makes us  afraid so that we can overcome the power of Law breaking and be given the power to obey. It is so much easier to receive instruction from a man and live, than to wait and hear the voice of YAHWEH and die to all our own strength and goodness. It is in this way  many believers seek to serve YAHWEH, without ever seeking to live in daily contact with YAHWEH, and without  the belief and trust that it is only YAHWEH'S presence that can keep us from Law breaking. Their religion is a matter of outward instruction from man, the waiting to hear YAHWEH'S voice so that they will be able to obey YAHWEH, and the death to the flesh (fallen  nature) and the world that comes with a close walk with YAHWEH are unknown! They may be faithful and diligent in their studying the Scriptures, in reading or hearing Scriptures teaching; but to have as much as possible of a relationship with  the Covenant Mighty One, which makes the believers new life possible, this they do not seek!

 Every Word Of The New Covenant Is YAHWEH'S Assurance Of What Will Be Obtained By The SetApart Spirit's Working

If you would be delivered from all this, learn always to read the Book of the New  Covenant in the New Covenant Spirit! One of the first articles of the New Covenant has reference to this matter, when YAHWEH says: "I will put MY Law in their inner being and write it on their hearts." YAHWEH shows us that the Words  of The Book will no longer be mere outward  teaching, but that what it commands will be our disposition and delight, worked out in us as a birth and a life by the SetApart Spirit. Every Word of the New Covenant then becomes YAHWEH'S assurance of what will be obtained by the SetApart Spirit's working. The believer learns to see that the letter kills, that the flesh profits nothing. The study, and understanding of, the delight in, Scriptures words and thoughts, can not profit, except as the SetApart Spirit is waited on to make them life. The acceptance of Scripture in the letter, the reception of it in human understanding, is to be seen as fruitless as was Yisrael's at Sinai. But as the Word of YAHWEH, spoken by the living Mighty One through the Spirit into the heart that waits on the Spirit, it is found to be quick and powerful. It then is a Word that works effectually in  those that believe, giving within the heart the actual possession of the unmerited favor of which  the Word has spoken!

The New Covenant is a working of the Spirit. All its teaching is meant to be taught by YAHWEH'S Spirit. The two most remarkable chapters in the Scriptures on the proclaiming of the good news, are those in which Sha'ul brings out the truth revealed of this teaching QorintYah Alef-(1 Corinthians 2), & QorintYAH Bet-(2 Corinthians 3). Every preacher ought to see whether they can pass their examination in them. They tell us that in the New Covenant the SetApart Spirit is everything! It is the Spirit entering the heart, writing, revealing and impressing upon the heart YAHWEH'S Law  and truth, which alone works true obedience. No excellency of speech nor human wisdom can in the least profit, YAHWEH must reveal by YAHWEH'S Spirit to proclaimer and hearer, the things YAHWEH has prepared for us. What is true of the proclaimer is also true of the hearer. One of the great reasons that so many believers never come out of the Old Covenant, never even known that they are in it, and have to come out of it, is that there is so much head knowledge without  the power of the Spirit in the heart being waited for. It is only when proclaimers and hearers and readers believe that the Book of the New Covenant needs the Spirit of the New  Covenant to explain and apply it, that the Word of YAHWEH can do its work .

Learn the double lesson, what YAHWEH has joined together, let no man tear apart ! The Scripture is the Book of the New Covenant and the SetApart Spirit is its only proclaimer of what belongs to the Covenant. Expect not to understand or profit by the Scriptural knowledge without seeking continually  the teaching of the Spirit. Beware  unless your earnest Scripture study, your excellent books or your beloved teacher takes the place of YAHWEH'S Spirit! Pray daily for the keeping of and believing in the Spirit's teaching. The Spirit will write YAHWEH'S Word in your heart. Praise YAHWEH.

The Book Of The Covenant Will Shine With New Light

The Scriptures are the Book of the Covenant, ask the Spirit especially to reveal to you the New Covenant in it. It is inconceivable what loss the "Church" of our day is suffering because so few  believers truly live as its heirs, in the true knowledge and enjoyment of its promises. Ask YAHWEH  in humble belief and trust to give you in all your Scripture reading, the Spirit of wisdom and uncovering, to enlighten your heart to know what  the promises are which the Covenant reveals, and what is the security in YAHSHUA, the Guarantor of the Covenant, that every promise will be fulfilled in you in YAHSHUA'S power, and what the intimate fellowship is to which it admits you with the Mighty One of the Covenant. The working of the SetApart Spirit humbly waited for and listened to, will make the Book of the Covenant shine with new light, even the light of YAHWEH'S countenance and a full deliverance.

All this applies especially to the understanding of what actually the New Covenant is meant to work. Among all we hear, read and understand of the different promises in the New Covenant, it is quite possible that we never yet have had that heavenly vision of it as a whole, so that with  its overmastering power it compels us to accept it. Just hear it once again, what it really is. True Obedience and Fellowship with YAHWEH; for this reason mankind was created, which Law breaking cut off, which the Law demanded, but could not work which YAHWEH'S own Son came from the heavens to restore in our lives, and is now brought within our reach and offered to us. Our ABBA tells us in the Book of the New  Covenant that YAHWEH now expects us to live in full and unbroken obedience and communion with YAHWEH. YAHWEH tells us that, by the Mighty Power of YAHWEH'S Son and YAHWEH'S Spirit, that YAHWEH  will work this in us! Everything has been arranged for it. YAHWEH'S Word tells us that such a life of unbroken obedience is possible, because YAHSHUA the MESSIYAH, as the Mediator, will live in us and enable us each moment to live in HIM! YAHWEH tells us that all YAHWEH wants is surrender of belief and trust, the yielding of ourselves to YAHWEH, so YAHWEH can do the work. Let us look and see the SetApart life, with all its power and blessings, coming down from YAHWEH in the heavens in YAHSHUA and the SetApart Spirit. Let us believe that the Spirit will give us a vision of it, as a prepared gift to be applied in living power and to take possession of us. Let us look upward and look inward in the belief and trust of the Son and Spirit, and YAHWEH will show us that every Word written in the Book of the Covenant is not only true, but that it can be made Spirit and Truth within  us and our daily life. That it will be indeed. HalleluYah !
