Old Leaven Of Malice And Wickedness
We Must Replace The Leaven Of Malice
With True 'Ahabah
Contents Of Sermon Message:
Beware Of The Leaven Of The Pharisees
A little leaven leavens the whole lump. We are commanded to purge ourselves from the leaven (wickedness and malice) in our own hearts and keep the Passover. (1 Corinthians 5:6-8) Malice is an extreme enmity, ill-will, malevolence or hatred for mere personal gratification. Deceit is also a form of malice. Any lie is also a form of leaven. (Sirach 20:22-27) YHWH will bring HIS people to the point that there will be no deceit or any leaven in us. (Zephaniah 3:12,13)
True 'Ahabah
We are to have a simple heart to obey the Torah and love one another. (1 John 3:1-10) The hypocrite speaks with words but there is no true 'ahabah in his heart. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13) We are not to be lovers of ourselves and proud. (2 Timothy 3:1-6)
Partaking Of The Passover
We must have all the leaven out of our heart before we partake of the Passover meal. We must acknowledge and repent for our hidden malice. We must have the Ruwach of YHWH to be able to judge ourselves and cleanse out the leaven of the Pharisees.
Nuggets: The hypocrite speaks with words but there is no true 'ahabah in his heart.
