The Healing Of YAHWEH - Part 1
Healing {raw-faw'}: make healthful, restored favor, to mend by stitching, cure, make whole
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:4 I said, YAHWEH, be merciful to me: heal
{raw-faw'} my soul
{neh'-fesh appetite, mind} ; for I have
sinned
{khaw-taw' miss the way} against YOU.
SIRACH 38:9 My son, when you are sick do not be negligent, but pray to
YAHWEH, and HE will heal you.
SIRACH 38:10 Give up your sins and direct your hands aright, and cleanse
your lev from all sins.
Where Is The Healing Today and How do we Obtain It-The Instruction of YAHWEH - Wisdom
The Torah as taught by the Ruach, is medicine and healing for YAHWEH's true people which consist of : instruction {moo-sawr' discipline, restraint} understanding {bee-naw' discernment} wisdom {khok-maw' skill, experience, prudence}.
Wisdom of YAHWEH Speaks as to the Path for Yisrael to Take
MISHLE - PROVERBS 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked {raw-shaw'}, and go not in the way {deh'-rek} of evil men.
MISHLE - PROVERBS 4:20 My son, attend {kaw-shab' be
attentive, heed, incline of ears}
to my words; incline {naw-taw' stretch out,
extend} your ear to my sayings.
MISHLE - PROVERBS 4:21 Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the
midst {taw'-vek}
of your lev,
MISHLE - PROVERBS 4:22 For they are life {khah'-ee}
to those that find {maw-tsaw'}
them, and health {mar-pay'} to all
their flesh.
{mar-pay'} soundness of mind, a medicine, deliverance, the cure, remedy, healing
MISHLE - PROVERBS 4:23 Keep {naw-tsar' guard from dangers} your lev with all diligence {mish-mawr' guard, watch}; for out of it are the issues {to-tsaw-aw' source } of life.
SIRACH 21:3 All Torahlessness-lawlessness is like a two-edged sword; there is no healing {mar-pay'} for its wound.
The Sins And Judgments Of Nineveh (capital of the ancient kingdom of Assyria) and What procures no Healing Among the People
NACHUM - NAHUM 3:4 Because of the multitude {robe}
of the whoredoms {zaw-noon' idolatry}
of the wellfavored {khane' favor, acceptance}
harlot {zaw-naw'}, the mistress
{bah-al-aw'} of witchcrafts
{keh'-shef}, that brings and trains up all nations through her
whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
NACHUM - NAHUM 3:5 Behold, I am against you, says YAHWEH of hosts; and I will
discover {gaw-law' remove} your skirts upon
your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your
shame {kaw-lone' confusion, shame},
NACHUM - NAHUM 3:6 And I will cast abominable
{shik-koots' idol, detested thing} filth
upon you, and make you vile {naw-bale' senseless,
foolish}, and will set you as a gazingstock
{ro-ee' spectacle},
NACHUM - NAHUM 3:7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon you
shall flee from you, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence
shall I seek comforters for you?
Its Utter Destruction - What Shall befall the Health of The People
NACHUM - NAHUM 3:19 There is no healing {kay-haw' alleviation, cure} of your bruise {sheh'-ber' fracture, crushing}; your wound {mak-kaw'} is grievous {khaw-law' become weak, sick, diseased, ill}: all that hear the news of you shall clap the hands over you: for upon whom has not your wickedness passed continually?
SIRACH 3:28 The affliction {on-ee' poverty, misery} of the proud has no healing, for a plant of wickedness has taken root in him.
Miraculous healing did not start with Yahshua but was and remains the inheritance of Righteous Yisrael.
2 MELAKIM - 2 KINGS 20:5 Turn {shoob} Ysha'yah again, and tell HezekiYah the captain of MY people, this says YAHWEH, the Sovereign Ruler of David your ahvot, I have heard your prayer {tef-il-law'}, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal {raw-faw' make healthful, make whole} you: on the third day you shall go up to the Bayit of YAHWEH
The healing for Yisrael is found in a return to the paths of Torah and the marriage covenant of Sinai
YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 6:16 This says YAHWEH, Stand you in the ways {deh'-rek}, and see {raw-aw' inspect, perceive, consider}, and ask for the old paths {naw-theeb'}, where is the tov way, and walk {yaw-lak'} therein, and you shall find rest {mar-go'-ah' resting place} for your souls {neh'-fesh} . But they said, We will not walk therein.
The Process of being made Whole
Whole {khaw-yaw'} to continue in life, remain alive, from discouragement, from death, from faintness, to cause to grow, to restore to health.
MATTITYAHU - MATTHEW 9:21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch HIS
garment, I shall be whole {raw-faw'},
MATTITYAHU - MATTHEW 9:22 But YAHSHUA turned around, and when HE saw her, HE
said, Daughter, be of tov comfort; your emunah has made you whole
{raw-faw'} . And the woman was made whole from that
hour.
MATTITYAHU - MATTHEW 9:23 And when YAHSHUA came into the ruler's house, and saw
the minstrels and the people making a noise,
MATTITYAHU - MATTHEW 9:24 He said to them, Give place: for the maid is not dead,
but sleeps. And they laughed Him to scorn.
SIRACH 28:3 Does a man harbor anger against another, and yet seek for healing from YAHWEH?
SIRACH 34:14 He who fears YAHWEH will not be timid, nor play the coward, for He
is his hope.
SIRACH 34:15 Blessed is the soul of the man who fears YAHWEH! To whom does he
look? And who is his support?
SIRACH 34:16 The eyes of YAHWEH are upon those who ahavah HIM, a mighty
protection and strong support, a shelter from the hot wind and a shade from
noonday sun, a guard against stumbling and a defense against falling.
SIRACH 34:17 HE lifts up the soul and gives Light to the eyes; HE grants
healing {raw-faw'}, life, and blessing.
SIRACH 34:18 If one sacrifices from what has been wrongfully obtained, the
offering is blemished; the gifts of the lawless are not acceptable.
SIRACH 34:19 The Most High is not pleased with the offerings of the wicked; and
he is not propitiated for sins by a multitude of sacrifices.
Strongs: 7495 rapha' raw-faw' or raphah {raw-faw'}; a primitive root; properly, to mend (by stitching), i.e. (figuratively) to cure:--(KJV words used)- cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, X thoroughly, make whole. See 7503.
Vines: rapa' (7495), "to heal." This word is common to both ancient and modern
Hebrew. It occurs approximately 65 times in the Hebrew TanaK, appearing first in
Gen. 20:17: " ...YAHWEH healed Abimelech."
"To heal" may be described as "restoring to normal," an act which YAHWEH
typically performs. Thus, appeals to YAHWEH for healing are common: " ...0
YAHWEH, heal me; for my bones are vexed" (Ps. 6:2); "Heal me, 0 YAHWEH, and I
shall be healed..." (Jer.17:14). Not only are human diseases "healed," but bad
water is restored to normal or "healed" (2 Kings 2:22); salt water is "healed"
or made fresh (Ezek. 47:8); even pottery is "healed" or restored (Jer. 19:11).
A large number of the uses of rapa' express the "healing" of the nation-such
"healing" not only involves YAHWEH's unmerited love and favor and forgiveness,
but also the nation's repentance. Divine discipline leads to repentance and
"healing": "Come, and let us return unto YAHWEH: for he hath torn, and he will
heal us..." (Hos. 6:1). YAHWEH promises: "For I will restore health unto you,
and I will heal you of your wounds, saith YAHWEH..." (Jer. 30:17). Even foreign
cities and powers can know YAHWEH's "healing" if they repent (Jer.51:8-9).
False prophets are condemned because they deal only with the symptoms and not
with the deep spiritual hurts of the people: "They have healed also the hurt of
the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no
peace" (Jer. 6:14; also 8:11).
