YAHWEH To Be Praised For HIS Mercy

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:1

  1     ^¶  HalleluYAH. HalleluYah you the NAME of YAHWEH; HalleluYah HIM, O you servants of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:2

  2    You that stand in the house of YAHWEH, in the courts of the house of our Sovereign Ruler,

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:3

  3    HalleluYAH; for YAHWEH is good: sing praises to HIS NAME; for it is pleasant.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:4

  4    For YAHH has chosen Yacob to HIMSELF, and Yisrael for HIS peculiar treasure.

For YAHWEH's Power And Judgments

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:5

  5     ^¶  For I know that YAHWEH is great, and that our Sovereign is above all gods.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:6

  6    Whatsoever YAHWEH pleased, that did HE in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:7

  7    HE causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; HE makes lightnings for the rain; HE brings the wind out of HIS treasuries.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:8

  8    Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of the sons of adam and beast.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:9

  9    Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:10

  10    Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:11

  11    Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:12

  12    And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage to Yisrael HIS people.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:13

  13    YOUR NAME, O YAHWEH, endures forever; and YOUR memorial, O YAHWEH, throughout all generations.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:14

  14    For YAHWEH will judge HIS people, and HE will repent HIMSELF concerning HIS servants.

The Vanity Of Idols

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:15

  15     ^¶  The idols of the heathen nations are silver and gold, the work of the sons of adam's hands.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:16

  16    They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:17

  17    They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any ruach in their mouths.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:18

  18    They that make them are like to them: so is every one that trusts in them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:19

  19    Bless YAHWEH, O house of Yisrael: bless YAHWEH, O house of Aaron:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:20

  20    Bless YAHWEH, O house of Levi: you that fear YAHWEH, bless YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:21

  21    Blessed be YAHWEH out of Zion, which dwells at Yerusalem. HalleluYAH.
