YAHWEH's Majesty In The Heavens, The Creation Of The Sea, And The Dry Land

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:1

  1     ^¶  Bless YAHWEH, O my soul. O YAHWEH my Sovereign Ruler, YOU are very great; YOU are clothed with grandeur and magnificence.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:2

  2    Who cover YOURSELF with Light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:3

  3    Who lays the beams of HIS chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds HIS chariot: who walks upon the wings of the ruach:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:4

  4    Who makes HIS malakim ruachs; HIS ministers a flaming fire:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:5

  5    Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:6

  6    YOU covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:7

  7    At YOUR rebuke they fled; at the voice of YOUR thunder they hastened away.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:8

  8    They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys to the place which YOU have founded for them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:9

  9    YOU have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

YAHWEH's Provision For All Creatures

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:10

  10     ^¶  HE sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:11

  11    They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:12

  12    By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:13

  13    HE waters the hills from HIS chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of YOUR works.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:14

  14    HE causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of the sons of adam: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:15

  15    And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:16

  16    The trees of YAHWEH are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which HE has planted;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:17

  17    Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:18

  18    The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

The Regular Course Of Day And Night, And YAHWEH's Sovereign Power Over All The Creatures

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:19

  19     ^¶  HE appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:20

  20    YOU make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:21

  21    The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:22

  22    The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:23

  23    Sons of Adam goes forth to his work and to his labor until the evening.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:24

  24    O YAHWEH, how manifold are YOUR works! in wisdom have YOU made them all: the earth is full of YOUR riches.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:25

  25    So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:26

  26    There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom YOU have made to play therein.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:27

  27    These wait all upon YOU; that YOU may give them their meat in due season.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:28

  28    That YOU give them they gather: YOU open YOUR hand, they are filled with good.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:29

  29    YOU hide YOUR face, they are troubled: YOU take away their ruach, they die, and return to their dust.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:30

  30    YOU send forth YOUR ruach, they are created: and YOU renew the face of the earth.

A Resolution To Continue Praising YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:31

  31     ^¶  The splendor of YAHWEH shall endure forever: YAHWEH shall rejoice in HIS works.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:32

  32    HE looks on the earth, and it trembles: HE touches the hills, and they smoke.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:33

  33    I will sing to YAHWEH as long as I live: I will sing praise to my ABBA while I have my being.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:34

  34    My meditation of HIM shall be sweet: I will be glad in YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 104:35

  35    Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless YOU YAHH, O my soul. HalleluYAH.
