TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71

His Confidence In YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:1

  1     ^¶  In YOU, O YAHWEH, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:2

  2    Deliver me in YOUR righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline YOUR ear to me, and save me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:3

  3    Be YOU my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: YOU have given commandment to save me; for YOU are my Rock and my Fortress.

His Appeal For Deliverance

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:4

  4    Deliver me, O YAHWEH my ALMIGHTY, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:5

  5    For YOU are my hope, O Sovereign YAHWEH: YOU are my trust from my youth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:6

  6    By YOU have I been holden up from the womb: YOU are HE that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:7

  7    I am as a wonder to many; but YOU are my strong refuge.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:8

  8    Let my mouth be filled with YOUR praise and with YOUR beauty all the day.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:9

  9    Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:10

  10    For my enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:11

  11    Saying, YAHWEH has forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:12

  12    O YAHWEH, be not far from me: O YAHWEH my ABBA, make haste for my help.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:13

  13    Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and shame that seek my hurt.

His Hope In YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:14

  14     ^¶  But I will hope continually, and will yet praise YOU more and more.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:15

  15    My mouth shall show forth YOUR righteousness and YOUR yeshua all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:16

  16    I will go in the strength of the Sovereign YAHWEH: I will make mention of YOUR righteousness, even of yours only.

His Testimony Of Revelation

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:17

  17    O YAHWEH, YOU have taught me from my youth: and hither have I declared YOUR wondrous works.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:18

  18    Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O YAHWEH, forsake me not; until I have shown YOUR arm to this generation, and YOUR power to every one that is to come.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:19

  19    YOUR righteousness also, O YAHWEH, is very high, who have done great things: O YAHWEH, who is like to YOU!

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:20

  20    YOU, which have shown me great and sore troubles, shall quicken me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:21

  21    YOU shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

His Vow Of Praise

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:22

  22    I will also praise YOU with the psaltery, even YOUR Truth, O YAHWEH my ALMIGHTY: to YOU will I sing with the harp, O YOU Kadosh One of Yisrael.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:23

  23    My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to YOU; and my soul, which YOU have redeemed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 71:24

  24    My tongue also shall talk of YOUR righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought to shame, that seek my hurt.
