TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41

YAHWEH's Care For HIS People

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:1

1 ^¶ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considers the poor: YAHWEH will deliver him in time of trouble.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:2

2 YAHWEH will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and YOU will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:3

3 YAHWEH will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: YOU will make all his bed in his sickness.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:4

4 I said, YAHWEH, be merciful to me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:5

5 ^¶ My enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:6

6 And if he come to see me, he speaks vanity: his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:7

7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:8

8 An evil disease, say they, cleave fast to him: and now that he lies he shall rise up no more.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:9

9 Yes, My own familiar shalom friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of My bread, has lifted up his heel against Me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:10

10 But you, O YAHWEH, be merciful to Me, and raise Me up, that I may requite them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:11

11 By this I know that YOU favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:12

12 And as for me, YOU uphold me in my integrity, and set me before YOUR face forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 41:13

13 Blessed be YAHWEH the Sovereign Ruler of Yisrael from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, and Let it be fulfilled.
