TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33

YAHWEH To Be Praised

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:1

  1     ^¶  Rejoice in YAHWEH, O you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:2

  2    Praise YAHWEH with harp: sing to HIM with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:3

  3    Sing to HIM a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:4

  4    For the Word of YAHWEH is right; and all HIS works are done in Truth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:5

  5    HE loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:6

  6    By the Word of YAHWEH were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the ruach of HIS mouth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:7

  7    HE gathers the waters of the sea together as an heap: HE lays up the depth in storehouses.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:8

  8    Let all the earth fear YAHWEH: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of HIM.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:9

  9    For HE spoke, and it was done; HE commanded, and it stood fast.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:10

  10    YAHWEH brings the counsel of the heathen to nought: HE makes the devices of the people of none effect.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:11

  11    The counsel of YAHWEH stands forever, the thoughts of HIS heart to all generations.

YAHWEH's People Encouraged By HIS Power

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:12

  12     ^¶  Blessed is the nation whose Sovereign Ruler is YAHWEH; and the people whom HE has chosen for HIS own inheritance.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:13

  13    YAHWEH looks from heaven; HE beholds all the sons of adam.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:14

  14    From the place of HIS habitation HE looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:15

  15    HE fashions their hearts alike; HE considers all their works.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:16

  16    There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:17

  17    An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:18

  18    Behold, the eye of YAHWEH is upon them that fear HIM, upon them that hope in HIS mercy;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:19

  19    To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:20

  20    Our soul waits for YAHWEH: HE is our help and our shield.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:21

  21    For our heart shall rejoice in HIM, because we have trusted in HIS kodesh NAME.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 33:22

  22    Let YOUR mercy, O YAHWEH, be upon us, according as we hope in YOU.
