The Children Of Men Proved, And The Happiness Of Righteous People
1 ¶ To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David. Answer me O YAHWEH when I call, O YAHWEH of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:2
2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my splendor and honor into shame and dishonor? how long will you love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:3
3 But know that YAHWEH has set apart him that is righteous for HIMSELF: YAHWEH will hear when I call to HIM.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:4
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:5
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in YAHWEH.
YAHWEH's Favor Is Shalom
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:6
6 ¶ There be many that say, Who will show us any good? YAHWEH, lift YOU up the Light of YOUR countenance upon us.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:7
7 YOU have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 4:8
8 I will both lay me down in shalom, and sleep: for YOU, YAHWEH, only make me dwell in safety.
