We Must Be Instructed To Walk In The Ways Of YAHWEH
Sermon Message preached by Pastor Roberts
YAHWEH Delivers HIS Special People Out Of Egypt To Be Kodesh People
SHEMOTH - EXODUS 19:1-8
1 ¶ In the third month, when the children of Yisrael were gone
forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the
wilderness of Sinai.
2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert
of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Yisrael
camped before the mount.
3 And Mosheh went up to YAHWEH, and YAHWEH called to him out of the
mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Yacob, and tell
the children of Yisrael;
4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bare you on
eagles' wings, and brought you to MYSELF.
5 Now therefore, if you will obey MY voice indeed, and keep MY
covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to ME above all
people: for all the earth is MINE:
6 And you shall be to ME a Kingdom of kohenim, and an kodesh nation.
These are the Words which you shall speak to the children of
Yisrael.
7 And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and set
before their faces all these Words which YAHWEH commanded him.
8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that YAHWEH
has spoken we will do. And Mosheh returned the words of the people
to YAHWEH.
A Special People A Royal Kohen A Kodesh People To YAHWEH
KEPHA -1- PETER 2:3-10
3 If so be you have tasted that YAHWEH is kind.
4 ¶ To whom coming, as to a living stone, disallowed indeed of men,
but chosen of YAHWEH, and precious,
5 You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a
kodesh office of the kohen, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,
acceptable to YAHWEH by YAHSHUA ha MessiYah.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in
Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on
Him shall not be confounded.
7 To you therefore which believe He is precious: but to them which
be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is
made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them
which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they
were appointed.
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal office of the kohen, a
kodesh nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the
praises of HIM who has called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous
light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of
YAHWEH: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 7:5-11
5 But thus shall you deal with them; you shall destroy their
altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and
burn their graven images with fire.
6 For you are an kodesh people to YAHWEH your ABBA: YAHWEH your ABBA
has chosen you to be a special people to HIMSELF, above all people
that are upon the face of the earth.
7 YAHWEH did not set HIS love upon you, nor choose you, because you
were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all
people:
8 But because YAHWEH loved you, and because HE would keep the oath
which HE had sworn to your fathers, has YAHWEH brought you out with
a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from
the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that YAHWEH your ABBA, HE is Sovereign Ruler, the
faithful ALMIGHTY, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that
love HIM and keep HIS commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repay shalom to them that hate HIM to their face, to destroy
them: HE will not be slack to HIM that hates HIM, HE will repay
shalom HIM to his face.
11 You shall therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and
the judgments, which I command you this day, to do them.
The Yisraelites To Distinguish Themselves From Other Nations
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 14:1-3
1 ¶ You are the children of YAHWEH your ABBA: you shall not cut
yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2 For you are an kodesh people to YAHWEH your ABBA, and YAHWEH has
chosen you to be a peculiar people to himself, above all the nations
that are upon the earth.
3 You shall not eat any abominable thing.
The Covenant Between YAHWEH And The People
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 26:16-19
16 ¶ This day YAHWEH your ABBA has commanded you to do these
statutes and judgments: you shall therefore keep and do them with
all your heart, and with all your soul.
17 You have avouched YAHWEH this day to be your Sovereign Ruler, and
to walk in HIS ways, and to keep HIS statutes, and HIS commandments,
and HIS judgments, and to hearken to HIS voice:
18 And YAHWEH has avouched you this day to be HIS peculiar people,
as HE has promised you, and that you should keep all HIS
commandments;
19 And to make you high above all nations which HE has made, in
praise, and in name, and in beauty; and that you may be an kadosh
people to YAHWEH your ABBA, as HE has spoken.
YAHWEH To Be Praised For HIS Mercy
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 135:1-4
1 ¶ HalleluYAH. HalleluYah you the NAME of YAHWEH; HalleluYah
HIM, O you servants of YAHWEH.
2 You that stand in the house of YAHWEH, in the courts of the house
of our Sovereign Ruler,
3 HalleluYAH; for YAHWEH is good: sing praises to HIS NAME; for it
is pleasant.
4 For YAHH has chosen Yacob to HIMSELF, and Yisrael for HIS peculiar
treasure.
MALACHYAH - MALACHI 3:16
16 Then they that feared YAHWEH spoke often one to another: and
YAHWEH hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was
written before HIM for them that feared YAHWEH, and that thought
upon HIS Name.
MALACHYAH - MALACHI 3:17
17 And they shall be MINE, saith YAHWEH of hosts, in that day when I
make up MY jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own
son that serves him.
MALACHYAH - MALACHI 3:18
18 Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the
wicked, between him that serves YAHWEH and him that serves HIM not.
