A Generation that Curses
MISHLE 30:11 There is a generation that curses {kaw-lal'} their Abba, and does not bless {baw-rak'} their eema
How The Curse Come Upon Any People
DEBARIM 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a
curse kel-aw-law'};
DEBARIM 11:27 A blessing, if you obey the mitzvoth of YHWH
your ABBA, which I command you this day:
DEBARIM 11:28 And a curse, if you will not obey the mitzvoth
of YHWH your ABBA, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day,
to go after gods, which you have not known.
DEBARIM 11:29 And it shall come to pass, when YHWH your ABBA has brought
you into the land which you go to possess it, that you shall put the blessing
upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal {ay-bawl'} "stone" or "bare
mountain".
* From where we get the English word “evil.”
TEHILLIM 119:21 YOU have rebuked {gaw-ar'} the proud {zade'} that
are cursed {aw-rar'} which do go astray from YOUR mitzvoth
*to curse, lay under a curse, put a curse on
Jericho Is Taken, Rahab And Her Family Are Saved Because She Obeyed - The Blessing
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN - JOSHUA 6:17 And the city shall be accursed {khay'-rem},
even it, and all that are therein, to YHWH: only Rahab the
harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she
hid the messengers that we sent.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN - JOSHUA 6:18 And, under all circumstances you shall guard
yourselves from the accursed thing, lest you make yourselves accursed,
when you take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Yisrael a
curse, and trouble it.
TEHILLIM 37:22 For such as are blessed {baw-rak'} of HIM shall inherit the
earth; and they that be cursed {kaw-lal'} of HIM shall be cut off.
The Curse Come According To the Word of YHWH
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:1 But the children of Yisrael committed a *trespass
{mah'-al} in the accursed {khay'-rem} thing: for Akan {aw-kawn'
"trouble"}, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the
tribe of Yahudah, took of the accursed thing:
and the anger {af 'keen resentment'} of YHWH was kindled
{khaw-raw' be hot, furious} against the children of Yisrael.
*unfaithful/treacherous act
{khay'-rem} a doomed object, a thing devoted, thing dedicated, ban, appointed
to utter destruction
2 MELAKIM - 2 KINGS 2:24 And {el-ee-shaw' "YHWH is yeshua"} turned
back, and looked on them, and cursed {kaw-lal' despise} them in the Name
of YHWH. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty-two
children of them (how many were there)
YHWH Instructs Yehoshua What To Do
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:10 And YHWH said to Yehoshua, Get {koom} up; why
do you lie down this way upon your face?
{koom} to stand, endure, impose, erect yourself, to fulfill
The Problem Is
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:11 Yisrael has sinned {khaw-taw'}, and they have
also transgressed {aw-bar' to pass beyond} MY Brit which I commanded
{tsaw-vaw'} them: for they have even taken of the accursed {khay'-rem}
thing, and have also stolen, and deceived also, and they have put
it even among their own stuff.
Why Yisrael Can't Stand Before The Enemy
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:12 Therefore the children of Yisrael could not stand
before their enemies {o-yabe'}, but turned their backs before their
enemies {o-yabe'}, because they were accursed {khay'-rem}: neither
will I be with you any more, except you destroy the
accursed {khay'-rem} from among you
You Must Set Yourself Apart
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:13 Rise up, sanctify {kaw-dash'} the people, and
say,
{kaw-dash'} yourselves apart or tomorrow: for this says YHWH the Sovereign
Ruler of Yisrael, There is an accursed {khay'-rem} thing in the
midst of you, O Yisrael: you can not stand before your enemies {o-yabe'},
until you take away the accursed {khay'-rem} thing from among you
The Order of YHWH was Commanded as To How They Would Come Before YHWH By Each Tribe
GILYAHNA 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, MY People, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues
Achan Is Detected, He Is Destroyed
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:19 And Yehoshua said to Akan , My son,
give, I beg you,
honor {kaw-bode'} to YHWH the Sovereign Ruler of Yisrael, and
make
confession {to-daw'} to HIM; and tell me now what you have done;
hide {kaw-khad'} it not from me.
{to-daw'} confession, praise, thanksgiving, confession, sacrifice of
thanksgiving
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:20 And Akan answered Yehoshua, and said,
Indeed I have
sinned {khaw-taw'} against YHWH the Sovereign Ruler of Yisrael,
and this is what I did:
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:21 When I saw among the spoils a tov
Babylonish-Shinar
garment {leb-oosh'}, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a
wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted {khaw-mad'}
them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid {taw-man'}
in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:22 So Yehoshua sent messengers
{mal-awk'}, and they ran to the tent; and, behold, it was hid in
his tent, and the silver under it.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:23 And they took them out of the midst of
the tent, and brought them to Yehoshua, and to all the children of
Yisrael, and laid them out before YHWH.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:24 And Yehoshua, and all Yisrael
with him,
took {law-kakh'} Akan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the
garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his
daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his
sheep, and his tent, and
all that he had: and they brought them to the valley of Achor {aw-kore'}
* Valley of Tribulation-trouble, disturbance Garment
YASHER 11:31 Avraham was clothed {law-bash'} with
the spirit of YHWH
YASHER 48:52 And Yoseph was then clothed with the ruach of YHWH before
the king, and he knew all the things that would befall the king from
that day forward, and he knew the proper interpretation of the
king's dream, and he spoke before the king
2 EZRA 5:40 For unto them said Nehemiah and Athariah, that they
should not be partakers of the kodesh things, till there arose up an
high kohen
clothed with doctrine and truth
ZEPHANIYAH 1:8 And it shall come to pass in the day of YHWH's
sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children,
and all such as are clothed with strange apparel
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:25 And Yehoshua said, Why have you
troubled {aw-kar'} us? YHWH shall trouble you this day.
And all Yisrael
stoned {aw-kar'} him with stones, and burned them with fire, after
they had stoned them with stones.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 7:26 And they raised over him a great heap of
stones to this day. So YHWH turned from the fierceness of HIS anger.
Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of
{aw-kore'}, to this day.
YEHOSHUA BEN NUN 22:20 Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a
trespass {mah'-al} in the accursed {khay'-rem} thing,
and wrath fell on
all the congregation of Yisrael? and that man perished
not alone in his iniquity {aw-vone'}
The Blessings For Obedience
DEBARIM 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen
diligently to
the voice of YHWH your ABBA, to observe and to do all HIS mitzvoth
which I command you this day, that YHWH your ABBA will set you on
high above all nations of the earth:
DEBARIM 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on you, and
overtake you, if you shall listen to the voice of YHWH your ABBA.
