The wicked cannot have the true happiness
The only true way to gain true happiness-'ashar- (to be happy; the blessing of YAHWEH; that which is used to beautify a person; the contentment of YAHWEH; that which causes one to walk straight) is through pleasing YAHWEH. YAHWEH has revealed unto HIS people the things that please HIM. This revelation brings happiness, strength and beauty to fall on HIS people. (Baruch 4:4) The wicked cannot have the true happiness- 'ashar- of YAHWEH. One that is not walking in the will of YAHWEH has no shalom or happiness at all. We perceive the wicked to be happy and prosperous because we do not know the Word of YAHWEH. In this generation, man is altering every aspect of his physical image to create a false illusion of happiness. When one is happy he has soundness. There is a depth of beauty that cannot be recreated by any false means.
The false happiness of the wicked
The wicked believe that it is worthless and vain to serve YAHWEH. (Malachi 3:13-15) They see no profit in keeping HIS ordinances. They begin to speak harshly towards YAHWEH when they do not acquire the things they feel they should have acquired. The people of YAHWEH will begin to look towards the wicked and consider them to have the 'ashar of YAHWEH. We consider the proud to have a covenant relationship with YAHWEH when in fact these people work vile, evil works against YAHWEH. We then say to YAHWEH that it is not worth serving HIM because it seems that the wicked have more blessings than we do. The blessings of the wicked are cursed. YAHWEH never calls the wicked happy in Scripture. YAHWEH warns us against believing that the wicked are happy because Shatan seeks to plant this seed of deceit in our heart. The wicked are filled with false pride and it is apparent in their false apparel- the false hair, false nails and these things. We think it is vain to submit ourselves to the vigor of the ordinances of YAHWEH when the world appears to be having a good time. It is all vain and not the 'ashar of YAHWEH. We should not feel intimidated by the false blessings of the wicked. Sirach 13:21-24 says that if a rich man falls he will have many helpers but a poor man will actually be thrust down. The unseemly words of a rich man will be justified but the humble man who speaks sensible will not even be heard. YAHWEH says that riches are good if they are not gotten through perversion. The rich will not have their mind on the things of YAHWEH but will only mind their riches. Yet, the poor man is perceived to be wicked simply because he is poor.
The mark of those that walk in the 'ashar of YAHWEH
Whatever is in one's heart will register in their his face. (Sirach 13:25,26) Whether it is evil and dark or righteous. The mark of a happy man is a cheerful face. This cheerfulness is full of the light and advancement of YAHWEH. The happy man's heart is full of light because he has the wisdom and counsel of YAHWEH. When a man's heart is full of this 'ashar of YAHWEH it will shine on HIS face. No flesh can produce the 'ashar of YAHWEH. It comes only when the will of YAHWEH is revealed unto a man and he delights to follow the will of YAHWEH. When one has the true 'ashar of YAHWEH he will sense progression in his life and the blessing of HIS understanding into perspective in his mind. The wicked cannot produce this same progression in his mind. A face that is full of the assurance of YAHWEH is the true mark of 'ashar. The wicked can produce a fleshly emotion but lack the assurance of YAH. YAHSHUA spoke to HIS disciples after having washed their feet that they would have the 'ashar of YAHWEH if they would walk in the examples that HE had given them. (John 13:17) If one knows what pleases YAHWEH and does these things he will be happy. One who knows and does not do these things will never be happy.
He who endures has the 'ashar of YAHWEH
The ability to endure hardship and pain without complaint will bring the 'ashar of YAHWEH into a man's heart. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but he will trust YAHWEH to deliver him. He will not call the ways of YAHWEH vain. When a man endures as the prophets endured with patience the afflictions that tried them he will have the true 'ashar of YAHWEH. (James 5:10,11) We should count those that are able to endure as blessed because they know the power of the NAME of YAHWEH. Regardless to the affliction we trust YAHWEH and do not count HIS ways and purposes as vain.
Who has this 'ashar and who does not
The man who has YAHWEH as his helper and has his hope only in HIM will be filled with the 'ashar of YAHWEH. (Psalms 146:5) A man without YAHWEH as his helper will never be filled with true 'ashar. YAHWEH will not help the man that is full of pride but HE will cause him to fall. The people of YAHWEH have hope in the ABBA and are happy. The man that has the wisdom and understanding of YAHWEH will be filled with the true 'ashar of YAHWEH. (Proverbs 3:16) A man that is full of pride will never walk in the wisdom of YAHWEH but will defy YAHWEH. When a man fears YAHWEH he will be full of the 'ashar of YAHWEH. A man that does not fear YAHWEH will fall into mischief. The fear of YAHWEH causes a man to repent. He, then, is is filled with such thankfulness because he knows that he has been saved from a horrible pit. This is the 'ashar of YAHWEH. Without keeping the Torah one cannot be happy. (Proverbs 29:18) He that keeps this Torah of YAHWEH will have the 'ashar of YAHWEH. A man that does not keep the Torah will not be happy because he will not receive the joy of keeping YAHWEH'S law. The man that YAHWEH corrects will also have the 'ashar of YAHWEH. (Job 5:17) A wicked man will rage when he is corrected. He does not have this happiness. He that is corrected knows that he is a child of YAHWEH because HE corrects HIS children. If this rage rises in you when you are corrected then you know you do not have the 'ashar of YAHWEH. The perception that the wicked is prospering is false. (Jeremiah 12:1) We have this perception because of our own wickedness and doubt. When we do not delight in the commandments of YAHWEH we think that the wicked are blessed. The people that are saved by YAHWEH are the only truly happy people. (Deuteronomy 33:29) We have this 'ashar because we know we have the ability to please YAHWEH because HE has given us the knowledge of HIS will. When the Queen of Sheba observed David's kingdom she was impressed not only with the splendor of it but also the happiness of all of David's servants. Those that stand in the presence of YAHWEH will be filled with HIS 'ashar and a beauty that cannot be falsified by the world will be upon them. The 'ashar of YAHWEH sustains us to seek HIM and aspire to serve HIM. A man's wife can also bring a man into a gloomy depressed person. So, we the people of YAHWEH as HIS wife can bring unhappiness to HIM. A man with a wife that loves and serves YAHWEH can bring him much happiness as we as YAHWEH'S wife can bring HIM happiness as well. (Sirach 26:1-4) Those that please YAHWEH will be full of the 'ashar of YAHWEH.
